This is an exciting adventure for Jane Levy, Cellist for Cellobyes. This project has been in
the works for the past year and has finally come to closure. Jane is extremely excited about
this new type of CD. Her concept is quite simple; she took traditional Baby Lullabies and
arranged them for up to 5 cellos at a time. Jane performed this entire album of songs
solely, laying out each track individually and mixing them together to sound like more than
one cello.
Her passion is to make beautiful soothing music, and is portrayed in this CD. The Cello is
a very calming instrument and has similarities close to the human voice, which makes this
CD work for the infant, as well as mom to be. She has arranged the songs on the album in
such a way that the baby should fall asleep by the middle and sleep calmly throughout the
night. The beginning songs are nursery rhyme songs to be played while baby is getting
settled for their nap, following the first three songs will come the type of music that is used
to cradle and rock baby to sleep.
This CD also has an original idea put to it by design, as to play continuous throughout the
entire length of the CD. The artist chose to play environmental sounds between the songs, the
natural sounds of nature help calm the baby. This design enables the mother or father to leave
the CD run the entire time while the baby sleeps without any interruption of blank sounds. If
you’re interested in this exciting new concept for baby please sample the music and order from
the site. This CD makes a wonderful baby shower gift, or for anyone needing a little relaxation.
In today’s century, many facts and studies have verified the benefits of classical music and the importance
it plays in the beginning stages of a baby’s life. Don’t miss the opportunity to help your baby grow
into a wonderful human being through the art of music.
